Misha Rapoport was born in 1948 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 1972, he graduated from the Art Academy of Tashkent and returned to Almaty, where he was officially recognized as a sculptor. During this time, he created several works commissioned by the authorities, and the Kazakhstan Museum acquired three of his bronze figurative sculptures. In 1990, Rapoport immigrated to Israel and soon began presenting his art in various exhibitions. His unique works have since been sold and highly valued, reaching collectors in Israel and abroad.
