Bruno Luna was born in Mexico City on July 9, 1963. Interested in art since his childhood, he completed a painting workshop with Professor Robin Bond, and then proceeded to the Anahuac University of Mexico City to study Architecture and Graphic Design. His professional career started with assisting Marcelo Morandin, one of the most renowned Mexican sculptors, in directing models. Three years later, Bruno Luna traveled around the world, studying history of art and marketing. That was when, using his design education and years of observing Morandin at work, he first started to experiment with sculpture.
