Meir Pichhadze

Meir Pichhadze (1955–2010) was born in Georgia and immigrated to Israel at the age of 18. He is considered one of the leading figures in Israeli art and was nicknamed the “Chameleon” for his frequent stylistic shifts. His work combined abstraction, figuration, and geometric compositions in vivid colors, engaging in dialogue with art history. His paintings were exhibited in major shows and are held in public and private collections, including the Israel Museum and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
